I just wanna dance, I don’t really care.

Hi world.

That’s it. I’m back.

I always have trouble blogging after being gone so long because my life has changed so dramatically in the past year and a half. Well here you go: Last year and a half in tornado mode!!!

It started with me joining Zumba.

Yes, I know. ZUMBA. A very sweaty work-out inspired by latin dancing. But we use a plethora of popular songs. The YouTube video above is one of them, actually.

My mom’s been asking me to go with her for sometime, so I figured, eh, why not? I could use some exercise.

Yeah, it started a little bit of addiction. And my musical taste expanded to include people like Pitbull, Rihanna, Britney Spears and Lady Gaga. I know, fur shaaaaame.

Shortly after my Zumba craze started, a lovely mutual friend introduced me to this guy:

We fell in love. I’ll save you the mushy-gushy details.

I went on a trip to Germany with my dad…

It was awesome. Got to meet up with many friends and family. Hooray!

Then Doug and I added a special little guy to our lives:

The tiny guy would be Xenu. He’s grown a little bit since that picture:

He’s simply our pride and joy.

Doug and I bought a motorhome:

We love it. It’s so nice to just throw a bunch of clothes / food into it and just leave, anywhere, to get away from it all.

Shortly after the motorhome came into our lives, I then became very honored to acquire a new job. I went from working in a chemotherapy clinic as an office assistant to being hired in the Emergency Room, first as a Health Unit Coordinator.

I was shortly hired on further to be an Emergency Service Technician after a quick renewal of my CNA license.

Now I do cool things like splints, EKG’s, blood draws, wound care, assist in procedures like chest tubes and intubation and even the occasional CPR. I love my job.

Oh I also switched to the night shift.

Yeah. Sleep is for sissies. :)

I actually enjoy night shift too. It’s a more relaxed atmosphere. And we get a much different dynamic of patients… the crazier kind. It’s nice.

Just as I was adjusting to my new shift, Doug surprised me with a beautiful gift:

It’s an absolutely beautiful Leo cut diamond. It’s the most sparkly diamond I have ever seen!

So now we are engaged to be married August 11, 2012.

We are a very happy couple. :) It’s amazing how someone else can be so perfect for me, and how I can be so perfect for someone else.

So now it’s almost the end of October. I’m engaged to an absolutely incredible man, have a job I love, weigh 25 pounds lighter than last year, have the most snuggliest puppy, and am probably one of the most satisfied people on planet earth. Life is good!

No wonder I haven’t posted for the past year… I’ve been to busy being active, happy and in love! :-D

Well now that the big update is over with, hopefully this blog won’t be so lame.

Have a lovely weekend, everyone!
