“You’re Lucky Lucky, YOU’RE SO LUCKY!”
1) Song of the week, thanks to Michaele (a work friend) is Franz Ferdinand’s “Do You Want To”. This song makes me smile… it’s too much fun. The video is funny - all the art shown in it is actually a version of a piece of art that really exists. Yeah. Even the random sliding women across a canvas.

3) MY DAD GOT ME THE NEW ADOBE CREATIVE SUITE! WOOT WOOT WOOT!
Now, especially with After Effects, both of these new graphic design genres are made possible for me. Wooptie-doo-dah!
4) Today was my 21st birthday. I started it off by having to go to work at 8 am. I was tired. But then the most amazing thing happen - person after person kept bringing me presents!
One of my supervisors, Connie, bakes wedding cakes and party cakes as a side business. She brought a special cake in for me. It was the sweetest thing ever!
And then my co-worker, Jessica, made the special trip to work just to bring me cupcakes. Even though it was her day off! I work with the neatest people EVER!:
Even better than that, yet ANOTHER co-worker, Katie, bought me lunch. Don’t have a picture of her, but it was yet another thing to make my day at work sooo awesome!
5) After work, I renewed my license, and then my Dad took me, my mom and Jonny out to eat at Applebee’s. He bought me my first legal public alcohol (which, for the record, was a Long Beach ice tea)!
Yum!
It was an absolutely wonderful Day. Now I should go to bed, because I have to wake up early tomorrow morning to pick up my roommate from the airport for the best weekend yet! I’m sure to write again soon, as I have this entire weekend off for the occasion of Laura’s visit.

Don’t you feel instantly all grown up now that you’re 21? I know I did. Heh.
That whole Franz Ferdinand album is pretty fun. It’s great music for when you feel hyper or really productive.

I think it would be kind of fun to do a short stop-motion film with a still camera and piece it together… it wouldn’t be that hard with a digital camera either, at least you’d have digital images to manipulate.
Rotoscope is great - and seemingly pretty much impossible to do without the aid of some rather hefty software
(I suppose you could do something similar by basically drawing a flip book, but still not exactly the same thing…)
If you ever decide Creative Suite is horrible and you never want to use it again, please keep me in mind
