Diane’s World

…many enter, few come out the same

“Must you make me laugh so much?”

Rachel has given me 10 minutes to use her computer and update Dianefeucht.com.

Shoot.

And this is my first update for… 3? weeks?

So guess what you get? A bunch of random sentences that hopefully make some kind of sense. And no pictures. And two videos.

1) I MISS FRITZ my poor little iMac that is stuck in some storage place in Sioux Center, IA. Getting internet access these days is a struggle.
2)  I START WORKING AT THE ART MUSEUM ON WEDNESDAY …or at least I learn about what I’m going to be doing there on Wednesday. Hopefully I don’t have to be much more busy than I already am or I might explode.

3) COW IS STILL ALIVE? Cow, if you don’t remember, is my beloved fish. I thought he’d be dead by now, but he isn’t. Sarah is threatening to speed along his funeral date.

In honor of Cow, and my high hopes of being bilingual by this time next year, my dad shared a short, yet strikingly fitting, commercial with me. Enjoy:

4) HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO DIANEFEUCHT.COM  - even though it’s true birthday was three weeks ago, it’s never too late to remember. Not only is DianeFeucht.com celebrating one year of existence, but also over 10,000 unique hits within that time frame.

5) ONE MONTH UNTIL I’M 21! (Dun Dun DUN!)

6)  SONG OF THE WEEK: One of the few female singers I enjoy: Imogen Heap. Song is “Say Goodnight and Go”. I like this song. Which just may be the reason I’m posting it.

7) I HAVE A SMALL TIP FOR ALL YOU BLOG LOVERS OUT THERE: go to www.bloglines.com . What you do is subscribe to all the blogs you read, and instead of having to go one by one to figure out if they had updated, you can see in seconds who has updated. Just trying to make your life easier.

Ok it looks like Rachel is kicking me off. Ya’ll have a good one. I have no idea the next time you will be hearing from me. :)

Oh, I was just listening to Imogen on the way to work the other day :) We saw her when she was in Portland this last winter, and this guy opened for her and also performed most of her songs with her:

It was an amazing show. Amazing.

Oh, that makes me miss our lovely fish Substatial. He was a giant goldfish about 4-5 inches long. He is now buried under the jasmine bush in front of our apartment. Poor little fishy guy.
