“Oh God, Where Are You Now?”
SONG OF THE WEEK: Sufjan Steven’s “Oh God, Where are you now?”
What happened last week and this week:
I did a lot of artwork. (duh.) Including painting an entire new painting in one long 6-7 hour sitting. Pictures of it later.
I played many rounds of UNO with Amanda, Jason, and sometimes Stephen. I won a lot, and then lost miserably.
I created a drink at the Humble Bean. (It’s called “a party in your mouth”. I told the owner about it… so maybe if you go order a “party in your mouth”, they might understand you. I’m not responsible for any other responses you may get… ☺ )
I went on a date with my roommate. Yes, I cheated on my “husband”. He doesn’t seem to mind though.
I somehow managed to get a corneal ulcer – meaning a big blister on my eyeball. It hurt, and now I have to wear glasses until next Thursday. I’m grumpy about that.
I found out where I’m living next semester. It’s all good… I’m gonna decorate the heck out of that apartment.
I started a club… and I’m still working on it, but join the Dordt Defenders for Life if you have nothing else to do.
I got a package from my mom and oldest sister. ☺ I have the best family in existence.
I wrote this post… and didn’t put in any pictures. And didn’t talk very much. And managed to be dreadfully boring. And I put in a 10 minute song by Sufjan Stevens which I think is absolutely beautiful. I used the lyrics in my most recent painting… which you’ll see pictures of… LATER.
This post is to keep you happy, Mom. ☺ I’ll do a better one next week.
IN THE MEANTIME: HAVE AN AMAZING WEEK, Y’ALL

Diane, I’ll be honest. I don’t care for Sufjan’s vocal ability. It is to airy. Sorry, it is not my style. MOM
