“If I was crying (in the van with my friends), it was for freedom (from myself and from the land). I made a lot of mistakes (in my mind, in my mind).”
First of all: THANKS TO DAVID ELLERIE FOR GIVING ME SUFJAN STEVEN’S CHRISTMAS ALBUM. (Sufjan is pronounced “Soof-ee-yawn”). I’ve been listening to it non-stop for the past 12 hours.
If you don’t know who sufjan stevens is, you are a loser. He’s amazing. Absolutely A-MAZE-ING. Just listen to the song “Chicago” on his Illinoise cd… smokies. My heart beats like crazy when I hear that song. Such a talented young man.

I started playing Mozart’s Death Requiem while doing homework.
Yes, this can only mean one thing:FINALS WEEK IS APPROACHING! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!!
I have a very crazy bunch of weeks ahead of me, but my heart has been very quiet and at peace lately. It’s nice.
Do you ever have that? When outside you appear to be a busy mess, but inside your heart has some kind of reflective solitude? It’s a strange feeling.
This weekend was funny. I was abducted by Eric, Dave, Chad and Mal and ended up going to blue bunny. Then Eric got a gumball the size of a tumor. Here are some pictures:
On saturday I had to sit at the art sale with Shawn. The girl with me is Karyn. She’s crazy but full of fun. Shawn and Karyn are both in my painting class.:
And also I made a movie on Saturday. You can view it online if you want - it’s only 1.5 minutes long.
It was for a presentation that I had today. It went alright.
Only 18 Days till I’m back in P-Town!
Welp, I have a lot to do today. Don’t forget to continue your prayers for the Kooima family and Dordt’s campus since Jon’s death.
Love y’all Deeds.
