…many enter, few come out the same

Archive for August, 2006

I’ve heard the screams of the vegetables, watching their skins being peeled - grated and steamed with no mercy, how do you think that feels?

I measured my nose yesterday with the measuring tape that Andrew was trying to use to hang pictures. It’s exactly 1 inch off my face, 1.5 inches wide, and 2 inches long. Exciting eh?

But I don’t want you all to think that the most exciting thing I’ve done this week is measure my nose. I also measured all my fingers - my middle finger is EXACTLY 3 inches long, and it has 3 joints. I think it’s a holy finger - so much trinity symbolism.

I had a most excellent quote that all those who read Andrew’s website (ehm… none) has already seen.

“It really doesn’t have to be square to the bejare, cohware, bare, cazare!”

That’s right. Take that!

My new computer is officially “Fritz” now. I thought about naming it “sprocket”, but I doubt my roommate would appreciate a computer named after her. But right now Fritz is at the Mac docters getting a new logic board and power supply for FREE! (It’s gonna need it with all the heavy graphic design programs I plan to run on it.)

My dad decided to really make me happy and got me a graphics drawing pad and an awesome 500gb external hard drive that is super portable. I’m super happy. Once again, I am one mad graphic designing machine! Woopie!

Well I’m going backpacking with dad tomorrow. Hopefully we will live - but I’m excited to get out into the wild (rar!). Next week Andrew and I want to paint my mom’s garage. More painting! YAY!

Well that’s all for now. Have a good day!

Diane
