“I’m screaming at the top of my lungs, pretending the echos belong to someone…”
I don’t know if any of you had heard that new song “For you I will (Confidence)” – by Teddy Geiger. Oh man am I addicted to it. And the music video too. It’s not a song I usually would like (it’s way too mainstream for it’s own good), but it has a theme that really strikes home to me right now… sigh. And this kid was only 16 when he wrote this song – talk about talent.
Anyways. RA training was 8 very intense days. Every RA was exhausted from a mix of emotional, mental, physical and spiritual testing. Today – our first day off of training – was dull in comparison. I don’t have any freshmen in my building, so I had nothing to do.
So, to spice life up a little, I decided to have Mason and Jon show me the infamous “scariest place in sioux center” – which is odd that I’m in my third year and haven’t been there yet. I got pictures…but I’m too tired to post them. If you never been there, then let me borrow your car and I will show you. Quite creepy.
I also am in the progress of doing my first advertising job for RA business. Here is a rough draft of the ad for the best East Campus Block Party ever!:
If anyone has any magical cures for a canker sore or cold sore (I have both), do tell.
K, I’m tired. Church tomorrow. Must sleep.
